Global CBD company cbdMD has joined with European sports distribution company Ultra Sport Europe, in an industry first. The companies will partner with professional sporting athletes across sporting professions.
cbdMD is considered to be one of the most successful CBD brands in the world. The company was founded in 2015 and was the first CBD company to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. From their Hemp-growing facilities in the USA, the brand produces a wide range of products, including tinctures, topicals, and capsules.
Teaming up with Ultra Spots EU isn’t a surprising move from the brand, as they have already partnered with a number of famous sports stars. Names like Bubba Watson, Michael Bisping, and Kerri Walsh Jennings, have added to the company’s sporting register.
The CBD company is proud to produce top-quality CBD extracts. They claim that their pharmaceutical-grade machinery allows them to extract the purest CBD possible. The substance is extracted at low temperatures, to preserve the natural terpenes, flavonoids, vitamins, and other cannabinoids to be extracted alongside the Cannabidiol.
CBD is thought to be beneficial to athletes, as it is known to be an effective anti-inflammatory and anti-algesic. These properties can be advantageous to sportspeople, as it can help to reduce recovery time, and pain caused by intensive work out. CBD is also considered to reduce feelings of anxiety, which could also be attributed to its popularity among athletes.
As cbdMD is already focused on the sports industry, the partnership seemed like a perfect fit for Ultra Sport EU. The plan for the joint venture will be to distribute cbdMD’s products to sporting outlets throughout Europe. A lot of Ultra Sport’s clients are based in the UK and Ireland, but the distributor also has deals throughout the rest of Europe.
Ultra Sport EU serves both independent and chain retail stores throughout Europe. With the sports distributor’s backing, it is cbdMD will likely become a go-to for athletes looking to give CBD a go.
