Well-known coconut water brand, Vita Coco, has entered the CBD market with its UK launch of CBD-infused drinks. Vita Coco will release three flavours of their new ‘Vita Coco infused‘ CBD drinks, tomorrow (21st November).
The new 330ml cans of fruit flavoured coconut water will be available in Holland & Barrett’s, among other retail chains and health stores. Vita Coco will also be offering a pack of all three flavours through its direct-to-customer platform.
Each can of Vita Coco infused contains 20mg of CBD extract- the highest amount of found in drinks on the UK market. They also contain only 23 calories per can and 3g of sugar. In addition, they are made from 100% natural ingredients.
The three flavours in the new CBD range include Lemon Cardomom, Apple Ginger, and Cloved Orange. The natural flavours, and the 20mg, are all combined with Vita Coco’s well-loved Coconut water, to create a unique product for the growing CBD market.
Tim Rees, Managing Director of Vita Coco, said:

Through their new CBD launch, the company aims to “provide a healthy, low-sugar option for those looking to embrace this popular wellness trend.”
Rees also states that the latest products are “underpinned with all the added benefits of coconut water and the trusted efficacy of our supply chain.”
One of the largest health shop chains in the UK, Holland & Barrett will carry the brand’s new products. In a statement, the health shop claimed that the “[CBD] wellness trend shows no signs of slowing down and, in fact, it’s only getting bigger.”
The statement continued:
