UK-based CBD spirits company Top Beverages recently announced plans to donate 100% of its profits on gin products directly to the NHS. The brand joins a huge array of fundraising efforts around the nation with an aim to support the National Health Service throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.
Top Beverages is the UK’s largest CBD craft distiller, which specialises in high-quality spirits including gin, rum, and whiskey. The co-founders of the brand last week announced that 100% of profits made through the sale of their CBD gin products will be donated to the NHS until the UK lockdown ends.
Co-founder of Top Beverages, Nicholas Pullen, said:
“This is an unparalleled crisis unlike the world has ever seen, and we think our gins are uniquely suited to the moment. People throughout the U.K. are stressed, anxious and in pain.”
He added, “As a start-up, we understand that we cannot offer giant contributions the way large spirit corporations can. That’s why we have made the decision to continue this program until the lockdown ends.”
